Welcome to Taxi Peninsula. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our taxi booking and transportation services. By booking a ride with us, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking and Cancellation Policy
1.1 Pre-Booking Cancellation Fee
If you cancel a pre-booked ride, a cancellation fee of 20% of the total fare (with a minimum of $20) will apply.
The cancellation fee ensures compensation for the driver’s time and lost opportunities.
1.2 Driver Waiting Time
Drivers will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes after arrival at the pickup location.
After 15 minutes, additional waiting charges may apply at the driver’s discretion.
2. Fares and Payments
2.1 Fare Calculation
Fares are calculated based on distance traveled, time taken, and applicable surcharges (e.g., tolls, airport fees).
Peak-hour, late-night, or public holiday surcharges may apply as per standard Australian taxi regulations.
2.2 Payment Methods
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments (where available).
A surcharge may apply for card payments.
3. Passenger Responsibilities
3.1 Behavior and Conduct
Passengers must treat drivers with respect. Any abusive, violent, or illegal behavior may result in termination of the ride without refund.
Smoking, alcohol consumption, or drug use in the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Damages and Cleaning Fees
Passengers are liable for any damage or excessive cleaning required due to spills, vomiting, or other incidents. A minimum fee of $100 may apply.
4. Lost Property
If you leave belongings in the taxi, contact us immediately.
We will make reasonable efforts to return lost items but are not responsible for any loss or damage.
A handling fee may apply for returning lost property.
